The most pampered hens on the Oregon Coast.

Our little flock is family. As such they have a wholesome organic diet, space to roam and produce the best darn eggs you can buy. Our availability is limited, but give us a ring and we’ll be in touch.

The flock

  • Paulie

    Protector of the flock and overall stud of the pasture. He acts tough, but deep down he’s a teddy bear.

  • Gizmo

    She’s tiny, but Gizmo is the best forager and lays our favorite eggs.

  • Dolly

    Paulie’s favorite lady. She likes to play hard to get, which drives him crazy.

  • Moopsie

    The fluffiest of the bunch. Moopsy is a total snuggle bug.

  • Shadow

    The queen of the roost, Shadow is the hen in charge. First dibs on treats.

  • Belladonna

    She’s skittish, but Belladonna is a wonderful mother with broody tendencies.

  • Barbara

    Always next to her buddy Little Bear, Barb is a sweetheart.

  • Jules

    She’s the largest hen, but is actually one of the most timid of the bunch.

  • Little Bear

    She loves to perch on us during snack time and makes a unique honking sound when she’s happy.

  • Mixy

    She’s small, but mighty. Mixy is feisty and has little spots on her eyelids that look like long luxurious eyelashes.

  • Dorris

    Aka the lawnmower, this girl can eat grass like my Kubota.

  • Blanch

    She looks innocent, but Blanch is always first in line during snack time.

  • Boopsy

    Usually the last to bed down, she’s a diehard forager who risks it all for one last worm.

The Grub

  • Whole Grains

    We use Scratch & Peck Organic Layer Mash that contains all Organic whole grains without fillers. We also ferment the feed to help with nutrient absorption.

  • Worms & Grubs

    Chickens absolute favorite activity is the ole scratch and peck. Even when their favorite treats are available, they still prefer to forage for worms and grubs.

  • Yogurt

    Yep, these hens get the same homemade yogurt we eat. Yogurt provides similar probiotic benefits and helps maintain a healthy crop (the crop allows chickens to store food before it’s digested).

  • Berries

    During the fall the blackberries are plentiful and the chickens love a sweet treat.

  • Assorted Seeds

    Hemp seeds are a particular favorite of the flock, they’re nutritious and delicious.

  • Grass & Greens

    No need to mow, chickens love to eat fresh grass.
